What’s better than handmade decorations? EASY handmade decorations! This printable is perfect for an easy piece of text art, and you can customize it to suit your style by changing out the paper.
OK, so for Christmas, Zach got me a huge book of scrapbook paper. (He got me this one, but he says the price has really inflated since he bought it. Note that that is an affiliate link, but I don’t expect any of you to pay such a ridiculous price for paper. Just go to Michael’s or Walmart or something, their paper is just a nice.) I’ve been killing myself trying to think of what I wanted to do with it. It was so pretty, so I knew I had to use it. And it finally hit me.
So easy. So cheap. I’m loving scrapbook paper printables right now. Let me show you the one that started it all.
Step 01: All I did t0 make the printable was open a new document in Microsoft Word. Then I typed the phrase and used two fonts: KG Two is Better Than One and KG Hard Candy Striped (which is my current obsession…or maybe that’s just KG fonts in general. I mean just look at them).
Step 02: I got a piece of scrapbook paper (as soon as I saw the sunflowers I knew I had to use it for something) and cut it down to a regular letter-sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches). I loaded it into the printer and then hit print! To get it to fit the rounded frame, I had to do a little more work. I just laid the glass down over the paper, traced it, and then cut it out.
So easy! This might be my new favorite thing. I’m thinking…grid of quotes over the guest bed? Maybe? Yeah, that sounds right.
