What’s better than handmade decorations? EASY handmade decorations! This printable is perfect for an easy piece of text art, and you can customize it to suit your style by changing out the paper.
Decorating on the cheap is difficult. So anytime someone gives me a picture frame, I jump at it. Of course, then there’s the question of what to do with the frame. I have a lot of photos, already, and sometimes it’s nice to balance that out with other things.
In this case, I wanted to do some wall art. But you ever just want something done without having to put the effort into it? Yeah, me too. So no painting and no glitter (plus Zach hates glitter with a burning passion). I’m not particularly good at calligraphy (even fake calligraphy).
But I AM good at finding fonts. So I went to my computer, opened up Microsoft Word, and set to work.
Easy, Cheap Home is Whenever I’m with You Printable
- scrapbook paper (I used this set)
- scissors or Xacto knife
- Microsoft Word
- pretty fonts
- picture frame
Step 02: Get out a piece of scrapbook paper and cut it down to a regular letter-sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches).
Step 03: Load it into the printer and then hit print!
Step 04 (optional): For a round picture frame, pull the glass or back out of the frame. Lay it down over your (PRINTED) paper. Make sure to do this printed side up, so you can see the words and know they’re centered. Trace around the glass. Cut the paper where you traced.
So easy. So cheap. I’m loving scrapbook paper printables right now. I need to get a bunch of smaller frames and do a whole grid of quotes somewhere.
