Well then. I had a post I was going to put up today and then I accidentally formatted my camera’s SD card.
It was going to be a dessert. Looks like I’ll have to make it again so I can redo the photos. Oh no.
Let’s do something different today.
Zach and I have a niece now! She was born Saturday morning. I’m not posting pictures because I don’t have permission from her parents to do so.
For Christmas, I gave her parents a seed stitch checkerboard baby blanket that I knitted but I was considering making them another. I don’t have kids, so I have no idea how many baby blankets is too many. (And my mother’s answer was, “That depends on how many babies you have.” Thanks for the help, Mom.)
Parents: what are some handmade gifts you could have used lots of when you had your first baby (or non-handmade, but I would prefer to knit whatever I give them. To be honest, I have some baby blanket patterns pinned to my knitting board I’m DYING to try)? Is there anything you didn’t have that you would have LIKED to have?
We won’t get to see them for another few months, so I have time to make whatever it is I decide on. I’m terrible at remembering to mail gifts, so if I went that route, they’d probably get it around the same time we plan to see them. May as well do it in person. 😛
Anyway, go ahead and just start counting off items. I could use some ideas.
